The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (CIPM) announced a significant step forward in its Asian expansion plans by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alcor Management Consultancy Pvt Ltd. Maldives.
This strategic collaboration between CIPM and Alcor opens many opportunities for HR professionals, the managerial community, and students pursuing their studies in HR and Management in the Maldives. It paves the way for valuable educational programs and workshops, directly contributing to developing a skilled managerial workforce within the country. The MoU signing ceremony, a testament to this exciting partnership, occurred on March 18th at the prestigious CIPM Member’s Lounge.

Saman Jayawickrama; Honorary Treasurer, Mr Priyankara Senevirathne; Chief Executive Officer, Mr UAC Obeysekera; director of Professional and Academic Affairs, Mr G. Weerathunga; and Director of Operations, Ms Himali Dasanayake, along with CIPM’s senior management team, represented CIPM.
Consultant Mr Palaniyappa Muthuraman and Director Ms Shana Umar, ALOCR Director Mr Rasitha Niroshana, and Chief Executive Officer Ms Chamani Lakmali. From Halcyon Private Limited, represented the Maldivian party.

The Standing Committee on Globally Recognized Member Centric Organization of CIPM Sri Lanka & Member Services organized a ‘Paduru Sajje’ on Friday, 10th of March 2023 for its prestigious members. All members seemed to be enjoying the old and new hits performed by the entertainers of the ‘Paduru Sajje’.
The event was well organized and it was a great opportunity for our members to meet with each other and share ideas about what they need from CIPM as an organization.
CIPM is happy to announce that the President of CIPM SL, Mr. Ken Vijayakumar participated as a panel member to express his view at the “Tax Forum 2023” organized by SLIM Research Bureau held on 21st February 2023 from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm at the Kingsbury Hotel, with the participation of His Excellency the President Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Keynote speaker.
The Vice President CIPM SL, Hony. Treasurer, a few council members, and the CEO of CIPM SL attended to the forum.
The Nation’s Leader in HRM, The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (CIPM), signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Faculty of Management, KAATSU International University Sri Lanka (KIU) on 10th February 2023 at CIPM HR House.
This was signed for the betterment of the KIU undergraduates pursuing their studies in the field of Human Resource Management. Both parties will reap more benefits through this academic-professional collaboration.
