About the Library

The CIPM Library is one of the most sought-after resource centres for the country’s HR fraternity. Stocked with a rich collection of HR and business management resource material, the library contains a special collection of management books, increasing the library E–book collection, online access to a growing collection of HRM business journals, sample project reports, business directories and comprehensive collection of academic and business-centric information vital for both students and the membership. CIPM’s main library which is located at HR House in Narahenpita is regarded as Sri Lanka’s largest HR library while the three mini-libraries established at the Kandy Regional Centre, Kurunegala Regional Centre, and Galle Regional Centre respectively are fast gaining popularity among the public in the area.

Vision

To serve as a Knowledge Centre in the field of Human Resource Management that can significantly improve the quality of life beyond the CIPM library walls.

Mission

Develop to a comprehensive collection of CIPM documentary material and to worldwide information resource to enrich their cultural, educational social and economic lives.
