The lifeblood of the Institute is our members who have made enormous ontribution towards its success. In any successful professional knows, building relationship is an important facet of Business activity and its development. In addition to professional enhancement, an CIPM membership facilitates the exchange of ideas sharing of information and also provides an excellent networking opportunity for HR Professionals.

Our close working relationship with regional & international HR Institutes, other Professional organizations as well as the Government, Employee and Employers organizations enables members to establish strategic business alliances through CIPM.

CIPM MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Corporate Membership Categories

Fellows shall comprise every person who has been elected or upgraded to the class of Fellow and whose names appear on the Roll of the Institute as such.

Criteria for Enrolment

  1. Should have been in the Roll of the Institute for continuous 5 years as a Chartered Member
  2. Should be a fully paid-up member or exempted from the membership fee
  3. Experience
    • Should possess not less than 10 years’ Managerial level experience in HRM at a recognized organization including 5 years in Senior Managerial level, with proficiency in at least 5 KRAs

OR

  • Should be a full-time Personnel/ HR Consultant in a reputed organization for 10 years, including 5 years in Senior Consultancy level experience covering at least 5 KRAs.

OR

  • Should hold a Senior Management position at General Management level in HRM covering at least 5 KRA with not less than 10 years’ experience including 5 years of senior Managerial level experience in HRM at a reputed organization
  1. Should have obtained a minimum of 120 CPD Points.

Members shall comprise every person who has been elected or upgraded to the class of Member, his name is on the Roll as such.

Criteria for Enrolment

  1. Should have been in the Roll of the Institute for continuous 3 years as an Associate Member.
  2. Should have 5 Years’ experience in HRM at Managerial level covering a minimum of 5KRAs.
  3. Should obtain a minimum of 120 CPD Points.
  4. Should successfully pass a competency-based evaluation by the membership selection panel.

Associate Members shall comprise every person who has been elected or upgraded to the class of Associate Member as long as his name remains on the Roll as such.

Criteria for Enrolment

Criteria 1

Qualifications:

  • Holder of NDHRM conducted by the Institute based on the syllabus up to 16-10-2015 OR
  • Holder of PQHRM conducted by the Institute

Together with (Experience):

  • 3 Years’ executive-level experience in HRM/ HRD covering at least 3 KRAs of HRM or
  • 3 Years’ experience as a Fulltime Consultant in HRM/HRD covering at least 3 KRAs of HRM

Criteria 2

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a Degree in HRM from a UGC recognized University and has completed the final stage (Strategic Level 1 and 2) of PQHRM conducted by the Institute

Together with (Experience):

  • 3 Years’ executive-level experience in HRM/ HRD covering at least 3 KRAs of HRM

Criteria 3

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a Master’s Degree in HRM from a UGC recognized University and has completed stage 2 (Strategic Level 2) of PQHRM conducted by the Institute

Together with (Experience):

  • 2 Years’ executive-level experience in HRM/ HRD covering at least 3 KRAs of HRM

Criteria 4

  • Those who have a minimum of 8 years’ experience at senior managerial level in HRM/HRD in a reputed organization acceptable to the Council

Non-Corporate Membership Categories

 Affiliates shall comprise every person who has been admitted to the class of Affiliate as long as his name is on the Roll as such.

Criteria for Enrolment

Criteria 1

  • Those who have successfully completed PQHRM conducted by the Institute

Criteria 2

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in HRM or the National Diploma in Training and HR Development (NDTHRD) conducted by the Institute
  • Any other qualification reviewed and approved by the Council every two years

Together with (Experience):

  • Two years’ Executive level experience in HRM/ HRD

 comprise of students who have enrolled for any regular course of study(Foundation /Certificate / Diploma / Professional) approved by the council and admitted to the class of student member,as long as their name is on the roll as such
