CIPM Sri Lanka – the Nation’s Leader in Human Resource Management, successfully inaugurated its flagship event, the National HR Conference 2023, South Asia’s largest and most inclusive HR conference, on 21st June at the Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayewardenepura under the theme “Navigating Dire Straits” with more than 800 participants.
The Inaugural presentation about “Navigating Dire Straits” was presented by Mr. Rolf Blaser, Group Managing Director / CEO – A. Baur & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd, with the Keynote address.
The event was graced with the participation of Chief Guest Rolf Blaser – Managing Director, A Baur & Co (Pvt) Ltd, President, CIPM Sri Lanka Mr. Ken Vijayakumar, Hony. Another historical event for the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka at the beginning of the year 2022. Today CIPM SL & Uva Wellassa University Signed an MoU at the premises of Uva Wellassa University.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Jayantha Lal Ratnasekara, Dean of the Management Faculty Mr. G.H Abeyweera, Mrs. Y.M.C. Gunaratne, Head, Department of Management Sciences, Faculty of Management. Ms. R.M.Charunadi Ratnayake and many other staff members participated from the Uva Wellassa University. Mr.Jayantha Abeyrathna Treasurer Council Member, Mr U.A.C Obeysekera CEO, Mr G.Weerathunga – Director Professional & Academic Affairs, Mr Anushka Earskin- Head of Business School represented the CIPM.
The CIPM new cafeteria which was built on the land adjoining the CIPM Head Office building was ceremonially opened jointly by the CIPM President Mr. Jayantha Amarasinghe and Immediate Past President Mr. Dhammika Fernando followed by the religious ceremony was customarily held on 01.01.2022.
The event took place simultaneously with the staff ceremony to usher 2022.
The Office bearers and council members took part in the ceremony.
CIPM Sri Lanka is proud to announce that the institute won the two prestigious awards at the South Asian Business Excellence Awards 2021, held at Monarch Imperial, Colombo, on 10th December 2021.
President CIPM SL, Mr Jayantha Amarasinghe, Office bearers and members of the council, CEO and Senior Management of the institute participated in the event.
